Shahrukh Khan – His Top 10 Music Hits

Often referred to as the King of Bollywood or “King Khan”, Shahrukh Khan is the man of the moment and it looks set to stay that way for the foreseeable future. Shahrukh Khan has certainly had an impressive career with roles in no less that 82 different movies – many of them in which he starred alongside other big Bollywood names such as Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Om Puri and Hrithik Roshan. Shahrukh Khan certainly has a mighty big fan club too as many of his movies join the 100 crore club in just weeks after their release.

Today though, we’re not here to talk about Shahrukh Khan’s hit movies, we’re here to talk about his hit songs! So let’s begin the countdown of Shahrukh Khan’s top 10 music hits…

10. Bole Chudiyaan Bole Kangana – Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001)

Number 10 on our list is Bole Chudiyaan Bole Kangana which is from the movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham that was released in 2001. As well as Shahrukh Khan the song also features Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Kajol. Bole Chudiyaan Bole Kangana is a romantic song where the female character is proposing to Shahrukh Khan who insists that his heart is already hers.

9. Haule Haule – Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008)

Haule Haule is a song from the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi which was released in 2008. This catchy song is about an ordinary man who has an extraordinary story to tell about love.

8. Tujhe Dekha To Ye Jaana Sanam – Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995)

Another great song from Shahrukh Khan and Kajol – these two have some serious on-screen chemistry! Tujhe Dekha To Ye Jaana Sanam is a song about romance that expresses how the two characters want to be together.

7. Khaike Paan Banaras Wala – Don (2006)

Khaike Paan Banaras Wala is an upbeat, silly song which shows the irresistible charisma that Shahrukh is famous for.

6. Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Main – Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995)

It seems that fans just can’t get enough of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol together which is why we’ve featured another awesome song from the movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge – Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Main.

5. Ajab Si – Om Shanti Om

Ajab Si is a beautiful song about a young man falling in love. In the movie Om Shanti Om, Ajab Si is set to the scene of Shahrukh Khan’s character seeing his co-star Deepika Padukone’s character for the first time and experiencing love at first sight.

4. Mahi Ve – Kal Ho Na Ho (2003)

Mahi Ve is a great song with a beat you can dance to. Shahrukh Khan sings the song to his love interest in the movie as she is about to marry someone else.

3. Main Yahaan Hoon – Veer Zaara Song (2004)

It seems that SRK’s characters are unlucky in love as in yet another movie (Veer Zaara) he sings to his love interest who is engaged to another man. Preity Zinta, who plays SRK’s love interest in the movie, does an excellent job of restraining herself despite the romantic lyrics of the song coupled with Shahrukh’s incredible charm.

2. Chammak Challo – Ra.One (2011)

Chammak Challo is an incredibly catchy tune that you can’t help but dance along to. That, combined with the star power of Shahrukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor meant that it was destined to be an instant hit. What makes this song stand out in particular is the Western influence and the fact that it features superstar musician Akon.


1. One Two Three Four – Chennai Express (2013)

We wanted to finish this list with one of Shahrukh’s most current songs and what better one to choose than One Two Three Four which is from Chennai Express (released this year). This lively song is a great energetic and upbeat song on which to end this countdown.
