- dulcolax tablete 5 mg That ‘Oscar’ Selfie
The ‘selfie’ phase has been a phenomenon for some time and one which everyone has become to know and (love?). However, roll back to the 2014 Oscars and the selfie was given a new lease of life when Ellen DeGeneres tweeted a heavily-saturated celebrity ‘selfie’ consisting of Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt and a lot more A-listers (see above)! Ellen’s tweet was re-tweeted over 3 million times and broke records for the most re-tweeted tweet of all time. 2015 can expect to see the selfie obsession to continue with people rushing to shops to purchase the new craze of ‘selfie-sticks’ – making taking that obligatory selfie so much easier!
- Kimye’s Italian Wedding
Probably one of the most photographed couples in the world and one of the most-talked-about weddings in celeb history, it’s no surprise that this event has made it to the top 5 list. Exchanging their ‘I do’s’ in May 2014, the ‘Wedding of the Year’ created a week-long frenzy. The Kardashian-West family were photographed every step of the way, from the pre-wedding brunch, the rehearsal dinner to the big day itself. Everyone was apprehensive to see the bride’s stunning wedding dress and to find out which A-list celebrities were going to attend the lavish wedding, estimated to cost over $7 million (at least!)
- Deepika Padukone Cleavage Tweet
The Times of India caused quite a stir back in September when the popular newspaper tweeted from their official account ‘OMG! Deepika Padukone’s cleavage show’ with a link to old video footage of said cleavage. This tweet sparked a huge Twitter spat between the Times of India and Deepika, plus many of her fans. Deepika quite rightly stood up for herself and put her foot down to the somewhat sexist and disrespectful tweet and gained a lot of respect and support from the public in doing so! You go, girl!
2. The Unexpected Death of Actor Robin Williams
The world mourned the death of one of the best comedy actors of our time, Robin Williams, back in August of this year. Bringing laughter, joy and happiness through classic films like Mrs Doubtfire, Jumanji, Good Will Hunting and Flubber (to name but a few), Robin Williams was one of a kind. He made no secret of his battle with drugs, alcohol and depression over the years, but this did not prevent the shock of the world when we were informed of his death on August 11th, 2014. Millions paid their respects and remembered one of the greatest and respected actors of our time by taking the time to watch one of his many pieces of work in the wake of his death.
- Kim Kardashian’s Attempt to ‘Break the Internet’
Making it to our list twice, 2014 was certainly a massive year for Kim Kardashian. She took the world by storm with that infamous nude photo shoot, whether we like it or not. Everybody was talking about Kim K’s perfectly rounded derriere which she showcased to the world in all its glory on the cover of Paper magazine back in November 2014. With her Instagram account being the third most popular on the site and having more followers than CNN and Oprah Winfrey on Twitter, it’s no surprise that everyone wanted to see Mrs West’s famous booty.
