Funding constraints, shifting market conditions and regulatory upheavals in both advertising and cryptocurrency spaces have created a complex web of challenges. In response to this we must adapt our platform to meet the challenges and conditions we face.
Removal of Sign-Up Rewards
Effective 1 July, we will be removing the sign-up rewards. This decision was made after careful consideration and analysis of the current system. While we understand that the sign-up rewards have been a popular feature, the sheer volume of fraudulent sign-up attempts and ongoing attacks of this system mean that an undue amount of time, resources and money is being spent combating hundreds of thousands of regular attempts to game the system and as such, sign-up rewards will be removed.
End of Club Yamgo
As part of the upcoming changes we will also be phasing out Club Yamgo by 31 July. Members will continue to enjoy all current benefits until the termination date. The entire team at Yamgo are hugely grateful for the support and engagement from our Club Yamgo members and the success it has shown. This decision was not made lightly, and it reflects our commitment to focusing the team on core services and new products with greater market appeal.
Changes to Yamgo Boost
Lastly, there will be modifications to the Yamgo Boost feature. Yamgo Boost has been wildly successful, enabling almost 200,000 people to earn regular rewards since its launch three years ago but now it’s time for the Boost program to evolve. Starting 1 July, Yamgo Boost will provide $YAMGO token loyalty rewards instead of HBAR. We understand that these changes may impact how you currently use Yamgo. Our primary goal is to ensure that our platform remains robust and sustainable in current market conditions. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we make these adjustments. These changes will allow us to reallocate resources towards developing new features and products, ultimately providing greater value to our users.
Thank you for being a valued member of the Yamgo community.
